TV vs INTERNET part ONE: 30 Rock ladies and gentlemen

If you know me personally you know that I think that the Wire is probably "THE GREATEST SHOW TO EVER BE SHOW ON TELEVISION...EVER"... second to the Cosby show, and the Simpsons is somewhere up there in that list....  (scroll down) 
 

Now...I've been a huge advocate of the internet and why it's been destroying tv so bad in the past years... but whenever tv does something great... I'll have to post what I found... NOW.... I've found another excellent show. 30 ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!! this show is the best!!... look I know it's been out for a while now and won numerous awards and all that chocolatey goodness.... but i was on "One of my favorite video sharing sites...that will remain nameless" and i watched one of the episodes of 30 rock just to check it out... and i loved everything about it... 

- Tina Faye is a genius for creating this show... and hilarious

- Tracey Morgan has always been one of my favorite comedians, all the way 

back to the Martin days 

- The cast is so well put together.... Alec  Baldwin is now one of my favorite actors because of this show 

- The show is realistic and the atmosphere is very inviting 

- I like the whole idea of it being the behind the scenes of a NBC show, and the show is an NBC show.....!! who came up with that!!!!!!! so creative.. 

- IT's SUPER FUNNYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!! watch it!!!!! 

One of the best beats I have ever heard in my entire life........Nujabes is the shit!!!!!

Who knew that Samurai Champloo would introduce me to do this man and his incredible music... this is perfection... it evokes so much emotion.... I love this... and him being Japanese.. proves my theory that people who are creators or fans of hip hop outside of America embrace the "REAL SHIT"... REAL music... REAL instrumentation... boom bap... hip hop that "WE" all love... not this hybrid bullshit that's coming out today... this is real... you can tell he was influenced by Pete Rock, Large Professor, Preemo, and Jay-Dilla.... even if he doesn't know... he was influenced by them.... but i love how in most of his music he plays A LOT of original music over the samples..... A LOT of music.... this man is about to get a lot of money from me... cause I'm bout to start collecting his entire collection.

6. adds up to the standards of what a computer of the future should work and look like. 

7. you can install microsoft office now so everyone can shut up about that and saying it was inferior because of the lack of before.

8.  Every Every EVERY.... single music studio, post production studio, sound designing, voice over, radio station, uses Macintosh computers.... all of them!! that goes for film as well.. (i think)

I haven't been blogging... busy... and when i'm not busy i'm tired... like today... but I will say... 30 Rock is my favorite new show (only cause the Wire is over)... but Tracey Morgan is becoming one of my favorite new comedians.... and Tina Faye is a genius.... writer, star, funny as sh**... anyway... Still on the tremendous grind (not that anyone asked) but... yeah... traveling endlessly everyday... studying... practicing my studies... writing music on the bus... reading... trying to become a perpetual student... (I'll write a blog on the book i'm reading soon).  ....let me see what else... gradually disliking tv more and more and falling deeper in love with the internet as months pass by... (I'm a computer junkie) ... I'm happy with my relationship... my girlfriend is awesome... probably too good to be true... too too good... so thats awesome... I haven't bought any vinyl in a while... only because I've found alternatives to hunting for them at the moment (that's a secret) I'm still out of shape... but instead of trying to jump into a crazy workout that i'll eventually quit and gain back the weight... I've been reading and trying to focus on a plan that I can efficiently execute and not have to worry about being unhealthy ever again... we'll see... well... that's my updat... I'll be back to blog later... Peace  Yah

Bruce Lee interviewed by Pierre Berton... I think his last interview...

This man was a legend... and this interview was classic... this is what stars and legends were made of way back when before I was born....they weren't just their profession, they were unique, they changed the way a generation thought and acted, or influenced millions to be positive and do what they do... Bruce Lee was definately one of those kind of stars, not to mention, the greatest martial artist to ever walk this Earth... Bruce Lee, just wasn't a martial artist, but a great philosopher (like many cultures from the East) Muhammed Ali just wasn't a Boxer, Tupac wasn't just a rap artist... These people inspired the world through not only being the best to perform their crafts, but also using their celebrity to enlighten the world with their personal beliefs and ways of life.... which could make them vulnerable, but never did... Now of days, it's like anybody can be a famous "so and so"... Bruce Lee is and was amazing.... and i was so impressed by this interview... Charismatic, charming, professional, passionate, and comforting... People should take notes on this interview, and see what a real legend is made of... R.I.P. Bruce Lee
