Willingboro is wil'in! this is a SUBURB!!!!!!!!!! (this happened last year)

Authorities have charged a 19-year-old township man with murder in connection with a fatal stabbing that occurred during a large fight last night between rival neighborhood groups in Willingboro.

Darnell Williams of Tallwood Lane in Willingboro is accused of stabbing 19-year-old Julian Corry Jr. of Buckeye Lane, also in Willingboro, during the fight outside Garfield East Elementary School on Evergreen Drive, said Joel Bewley, spokesman for the Burlington County Prosecutor’s Office.

Two others involved in the fight were also stabbed, and a third person suffered a head injury, Bewley said. Their identities were not released, but Bewley said their injuries were not considered life-threatening.

The fight broke out at around 9:45 p.m. on the basketball court outside the school. Bewley said Williams was among a group of neighborhood people gathered at the court who were approached by a rival group from Buckingham Park. A fight broke out, and during the melee Williams stabbed Corry in the leg.

Authorities believe the fight broke up after several shots were fired from a car that drove by the basketball court. No one was hit.
