ok...so my hair is long as hell... and I'm 22, and I constantly keep having this idea of cutting, I'm getting tired of trying to manage it, but i do love my hair.... listen to this process.. women know....
1.take braids out (depending on how many braids-1hr)
2.washing hair (35 minutes)
3.combing hair (10-20 minutes)
4.blow drying hair (1 hour)
5.getting it braided (1.5 - 2 hours)
NOT COOL... I didn't mention finding someone to do it which is an event in its own...
We'll see what the future holds for my hair... we'll see

think about the winter that's coming before you cut it my brother...a guy like me wish he had long hair to keep warm...i mean i could always grow it like yours but it would take several months/
