October 4th...

October 4th,...or the 3rd.. I don't remember really... One of the greatest artists of our time, arguably (in my mind) the greatest rapper alive, and my favorite M.C. ever..."Be" being my favorite album. Common (Sense) is coming BACK to the electric factory AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Will he be the only one there...of course not...because the innovative, energetic, and amazing N.E.R.D. will be there with Common... I'm sure that they hopped on tour together because of the records Pharrel and Common did for his new album... Sad to say I probably won't be going even though I know I want to...Ross is going :( Rachel's going, Nakia's going :( (These are my concert buddies, we accidently ran into each other at the last Common show in 07 w/Q-tip) and me and Ross went to the Lupe Show at the Electric factory a few months ago!! anyway... this show is going to be so dope, if you're not doing anything and you want to either experience something new or taht feel good feeling that you've been missing, go to this show, because these artists make Magic at personal venues like this...I promise

Wyatt Cenec... pretty funny guy

Wyatt Cenec is a Dallas Texas native who is a stand up comedian, writer, and actor. He's worked on the Daily Show and wrote for King of the Hill for years. I stumbled across these vids and thought they were hilarious..the second one is quite racist and homophobic, but still funny... check him out...

A good friend and even better artist... J-Rok just dropped a new mixtape called "Popular Demand" hosted by "Violator All-star DJ-Supa". I'm listening to it right now and it's really really good...Like, the music doesn't sound like anything I've heard...the tone of music is really unique..It's like futuristic and organic at the same time... My favorite record is"What the Hell" Producer, rapper, (there's even some singing going down..and its good) A Very well rounded artist. From junior high to now, I've seen him grow as a person. From High School, I've seen J-rok grow as an artist...and vice versa...

Off to see the wizard......I mean NYC

Off to newyork for the like the millionth time in a couple of hours...Me and my babe are gonna step out and go, just for fun and to get away from willingboro... If I'm not dealing with the school...I like to really aimlessly walk around the city, go in to obscure and weird stores (some end up being porno shops by accident) and just look around...BUT when I go to the city, there is always a few places I always like to go to even if i'm not buying... I've been to the Sahara Grill a few times where I met this Turkish guy, he's pretty funny and animated..always asking me to taste the chicken LOL...well, one day I walked the Sahara Grill from the Other side of 7th ave and from far away looked above it and was like Oh sh**....a huge comic book store is right above it..It ended up being MIDTOWN COMICS... love that store...you have to look for the entrance, around the corner..it's two floors of manga, comics, toys, models, and chocolatey goodness.. :)

I also like to go to the huge Borders(that appeared in one of my blogs before)... Toys R Us(who doesn't) and last but definately not Least....my favorite store in the city, that I spend the most time in is da da da duhhhhhhhhhhhh

the VIRGIN Megastore...A lot of people run through this store... *Guess it's not a virgin then huh* I kid I kid... :) This store is the banginest thing since Sliced Bread...Three Floors of music(many 10 bucks) movies(many 10 bucks) ipods, zunes, video games, hand bags, books, and tons of COOL SHIT....plain and simple..it's rediculous...I love this store...

Thanks to my mans Terek the Cartoonist (an artist/rapper/anime lover as well) Filled me in today about the Dragonball movie that's coming out mid next year.. now, usually Terek will hit me up, tell me some info bang bang, in and out, its usually an Oh My God this or that...NAW...today.. he sent me a da da dunnnnnn a promotional POSTER AHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They are really coming out with this movie. On behalf of Dragonball fans all over the world..please do not ruin Akira Toriyama's masterpeice... It's like I almost hope its good even though I'm completely against it... look at this...

My heart is so broken right now people... Justin Chatwin....? You are in for the critique of a LIFETIME... you have a hell of a roll to play...Son Goku is the most charismatic/energetic/impulsive/lighthearted/strong willed character I've ever seen..HONESTLY (the Japanese son Goku...not that English Bullshit dubb) So... I'll be watching... let's end on a great note with this vid.

When my father was a kid, he loved this song, just like all of East Africa did at the time...this song originated in Sudan, and is still loved by many in 2008...I hear that you can still here little girls on the corners of Somalia or Ethiopia singing Al balabil's "MASHAINA" :) this is great that I actually got to hear it for myself...I LOVE THE INTERNET

I'm very flattered that people come to my blog and read...only a few... but some people come read my blog, get ideas, then go back to their pointless blogs and format their posts the same way I do, have similar topics, and similar interests as me... Just like I told "SOME" people before... GET YOUR OWN PERSONALITY... it's really frustrating..I mean c'mon... I love anime and toys, now you love anime and toys. I buy vintage video games......... YOU buy vintage video games... I post what my favorite this and that are, you post ...and so on and so on... either this is just a huge coincidence or I'm very observant... I'm too old to be pointing stuff out like this...but everytime I have an idea or brainstorming about something and either post it. Or tell someone...all of a sudden, they want to be proactive about my idea and pass it off as their own...same for what I like... JUST STOP IT whoever you are >>> Thanks...

Thinking about cutting it vol.1

ok...so my hair is long as hell... and I'm 22, and I constantly keep having this idea of cutting, I'm getting tired of trying to manage it, but i do love my hair.... listen to this process.. women know....
1.take braids out (depending on how many braids-1hr)
2.washing hair (35 minutes)
3.combing hair (10-20 minutes)
4.blow drying hair (1 hour)
5.getting it braided (1.5 - 2 hours)
NOT COOL... I didn't mention finding someone to do it which is an event in its own...
We'll see what the future holds for my hair... we'll see

I Want this soooooo BAD...... One day

When I say I want something new,(most likely something electronic) the question, "Why start with something so expensive?", comes up a lot... The answer is... No matter what you start with in whatever craft you are practicing, If you have passion, creativity, and patience, you'll eventually start to get better and better no matter what you start on, So why not start with the best? Because the cheap sh** will get outdated fast, if you start to excel faster than the average person. This is why I saved up for an MP2000xl when first starting to make beats, instead of some nut a** fruity loop or crappy software... by the time you get good, or great, you already have the great stuff at your disposal AND you already know how to use it, if you hadn't mastered it already... So if you're starting something new, don't be afraid of the "Big Boy" Stuff, because I do that kinda stuff all of the time... start off with Pro-tools, Avid, expensive keyboards, rollerblades, digital cameras, sky diving, learn how to drive a car in a stick shift, or whatever it is you're doing... It's like when Gohan learned how to fight while fighting with enemies that were going to destroy the earth...and he was only 5 years old... anyway anyway...I want this damn camera, and I don't care if I have to win the lottery, sell a beat, or kill someone, I'm going to get it...

Well known hip hop producer 88KEYS, who made beats, for Mos Def and many others...is finally coming out with his own solo project...It is a very well thought out, creative concept album called "the Death of Adam"...which is a tale about how adam's downfall was caused by the power of what's between a woman's legs.. (get me) He's very good friends/or cousins, with Kanye West...who he appears on 88's first single "Stay up" (viagra) lol.... I can't wait for this album to come out, because I haven't been joe about albums lately, except for Janelle Monae (which is also a concept album) so... everyone, get introduced to some of either 88's raps or magnificent beats from his past like "LOVE" on Mos Def's first solo LP "Black on Both Sides"...
