My new favorite MC/Producer: Jay Electronica

I've been hearing Jay's beats for a short while now appearing on some of my favorite artists albums, then I heard some of his solo records and really started to like him... Then when i heard a record called "Exhibit of a Transformation"... Pure genius... For a while my favorite MC's changed, I had an Eminem era >>> then Talib and Mos era >>> then for a while no one new came into play until Kanye West  >>> then Lupe Fiasco .... Now a few years later... Jay Electronica I think took that spot...This one record is that crazy to me... hip hop is not dead... There's underground hip hop artists and even major label label artists who are doing their thing, even making great money, but the devil (radio and tv) won't play their stuff.. at least right now.. we'll see how the future turns out. Shout out to good artists out there that need more shine and are creating good music:
Jay Electronica
Black Milk
Little Brother (not new, but still sick)
Janelle Monae
Nujabes
Blu (& Exile)
Kid Cudi
Big Sean
and many more...

Kid Cudi: Day and Night...

I like this song a lot

Pharrell is the most influential icon in modern music

No one...and I mean no one...can mimic the neptunes sound, many try, but there's much more to it than just finding the same boards, presets, modules, and playing live. This song is that Pharrell was working on with Big Sean (Kanye's latest signee) is going to be crazy as cat sh**.... don't ask...
