I was attempting to watch "Samurai Champloo again... so I went to the youtube channel of Samuraikevin... (youtube is great for finding an entire series to watch) and pretty much his whole collection of S.C. has been disabled because of copyright laws.... BUT... he had a new series on there.. well.... new to me... It's called FOOLY COOLY.... it was produced by Gainax which is the same studio that produced Neon Genesis Evangelion... It's an OVA (original anime video) which are usually one shot specials or short series. So this show is only 6 episodes... not 26, or a million DBZ..... I watched 3 episodes of this and I really like it.... since I'm half way done I'm sad that it's going to end so soon... usually I have a few months or weeks to finish a show... It's about a young boy who lives a boring life in a Japanese city. He hangs out with his older brother's ex girlfriend who is in high school.. he's only like 12.... his brother moved to America to play baseball... one day a GIRL (alien) or at least I think... so far... came and hit him with her moped.... then she starts living at his house as a made... since I was hit, weird things begin to happen... Mechanical monsters and robots are coming out of horn shaped objects that protrude out of his head.. The first Robot that came out of him "Canty" ... is his friend and maid???... and lives with him too because of the crazy girl that's in his house ... so whenever a new robot foe comes out of the protagonist... Canty fights them... by swallowing the boy and then turning super strong.... I KNOW>>>> this sounds weird... it is..... its very confusing.... but it's very good animation... and I'm sure if i watch a few times, i'll get it... or maybe when I'm done with the last episode.... check it out... it's pretty cool.....

MF DOOM & MADLIB are MADVILLAIN = the MADVILLAINY album

As each year goes by and more horrible music is being played for the masses, I fall farther out of love with hip hop... But it's these times, that I start to look for some raw organic shit with no gimic.... something that has zero radio play, never went platinum, but an artist that can pack out a show every night in any state and is very slept on... That brought me to this 2004 released Madvillainy album.... The rhymes were raw, up front, nothing too fancy, no tricks... they were what they were... and the production by Madlib is by far some crazy GENIUS shit that I haven't really heard since I bought J-Dilla's rough draft...they beats are grimey, dirty, sounds like tape air in the mix, two track, scratched up vinyl, and thick bass heavy drums and bass lines...There are hardly any hooks on the album, most tracks are like a verse and a half..two minutes long... this is good....no GREAAAT MUSIC... you can't fake this kind of stuff... This album accomplishes what a lot of my favorite mainstream artists like Jay, Kanye, and whoever cannot achieve. This music is extra extra personal... I've been listening to this recsord for just a few days and it affected me more than a lot of my old favorite music has. It even influences me on how I want to approach making my own records from now on. The track below is called "Fancy Clown", it's my favorite record right now, and possibly one of the best rap records I've ever heard in my life. In the background during the record, a phone conversation is going on...WHO DOES THAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Madlib is about to be my new favorite producer JayDee rest in peace... try and listen to this song below and not snap your neck from the enjoyment!!!!

I got this one off of okayplayer... Mos Def spittin MF Doom's verses in the studio.. Watching dope artists show love is so great.... and you can tell he listens to Doom A LOT.. cause he recites a lot of lines... It's pretty funny too... the track Rap Snitches that he's talking about is underneath the verse vid.... I love MOS ... I got some Doom Tracks too... his voice and the way he approaches tracks is crazy different... funny thing is.... people don't know that people like MF Doom and Mos Def have just as many fans or maybe more than any body you see on tv.. they have real connections with their fans because their music is 1. crazy dope 2. has substance 3. their live shows are always packed and very intimate, and 4. has things REAL people can relate to... Kind of Blue sold over 4 million copies to date, making it the highest selling Jazz album of all time... Ladies and gentlemen... this is "Thriller" numbers for this genre of music... It has been a mind blowing 5 decades since this album was released in 1959. It is said that every musician that was involved with this project went on to create their own "genius" material..."Cannonball Adderly, John Coltrane...etc..and they all became masters of their craft in their own right... this also goes for recording and mixing engineers involved in the project... *sidebar* with that being said, that is the pinnacle of what the word "classic" is suppose to represent... when everything involved becomes legendary... I'm ashamed to say i still don't own a copy of this album (note to self)... Musicians, and creative minds around the world still refer to this album as feeling "new", "refreshing", or "inspiring" ... Can you imagine doing that with only 5 to 6 tracks.... We shouldn't have been so joe about Illmatic's classic 9 records... Ahhhh. (sigh) I'm saddened because these kind of records are known as the best music in the world.... and now that all of these legends are gone, there will be slim chances of any more "classic" material being made. Authorities have charged a 19-year-old township man with murder in connection with a fatal stabbing that occurred during a large fight last night between rival neighborhood groups in Willingboro.

Darnell Williams of Tallwood Lane in Willingboro is accused of stabbing 19-year-old Julian Corry Jr. of Buckeye Lane, also in Willingboro, during the fight outside Garfield East Elementary School on Evergreen Drive, said Joel Bewley, spokesman for the Burlington County Prosecutor’s Office.

Two others involved in the fight were also stabbed, and a third person suffered a head injury, Bewley said. Their identities were not released, but Bewley said their injuries were not considered life-threatening.

The fight broke out at around 9:45 p.m. on the basketball court outside the school. Bewley said Williams was among a group of neighborhood people gathered at the court who were approached by a rival group from Buckingham Park. A fight broke out, and during the melee Williams stabbed Corry in the leg.

Authorities believe the fight broke up after several shots were fired from a car that drove by the basketball court. No one was hit.

If you know me personally you know that I think that the Wire is probably "THE GREATEST SHOW TO EVER BE SHOW ON TELEVISION...EVER"... second to the Cosby show, and the Simpsons is somewhere up there in that list.... (scroll down)

Now...I've been a huge advocate of the internet and why it's been destroying tv so bad in the past years... but whenever tv does something great... I'll have to post what I found... NOW.... I've found another excellent show. 30 ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!! this show is the best!!... look I know it's been out for a while now and won numerous awards and all that chocolatey goodness.... but i was on "One of my favorite video sharing sites...that will remain nameless" and i watched one of the episodes of 30 rock just to check it out... and i loved everything about it...

- Tina Faye is a genius for creating this show... and hilarious

- Tracey Morgan has always been one of my favorite comedians, all the way

- The cast is so well put together.... Alec Baldwin is now one of my favorite actors because of this show

I haven't been blogging... busy... and when i'm not busy i'm tired... like today... but I will say... 30 Rock is my favorite new show (only cause the Wire is over)... but Tracey Morgan is becoming one of my favorite new comedians.... and Tina Faye is a genius.... writer, star, funny as sh**... anyway... Still on the tremendous grind (not that anyone asked) but... yeah... traveling endlessly everyday... studying... practicing my studies... writing music on the bus... reading... trying to become a perpetual student... (I'll write a blog on the book i'm reading soon). ....let me see what else... gradually disliking tv more and more and falling deeper in love with the internet as months pass by... (I'm a computer junkie) ... I'm happy with my relationship... my girlfriend is awesome... probably too good to be true... too too good... so thats awesome... Bruce Lee was definately one of those kind of stars, not to mention, the greatest martial artist to ever walk this Earth... Bruce Lee, just wasn't a martial artist, but a great philosopher (like many cultures from the East) Muhammed Ali just wasn't a Boxer, Tupac wasn't just a rap artist... These people inspired the world through not only being the best to perform their crafts, but also using their celebrity to enlighten the world with their personal beliefs and ways of life.... which could make them vulnerable, but never did... Me and Jazziebaby went to go see this movie last weekend and it was so dope!!!!! cinematically it wasn't "RAY" or nothing... but really showed a story that I never knew, and was very straight forward about a lot of issues back when blacks first started bullying their way into radio and showing the world A-Class talent that would soon be stolen from them right along with the royalties.... this movie was great because of the acting.... truthful plot.... and music.... but the story seems very sad almost, similar to almost anything that happened in black history within this country.... I think you should all see it... by the way... "EVERYBODY'S SO INTIMATE ON THE INTERNET/ BUT FACE TO FACE YOU AIN'T INTO IT?/" -yah

I'm finally going to write a serious note for the fist time...since I'm still on the fence on if I should delete my facebook at the end of the year or not...
1st of all... I'm at a very confusing...yet positive point in my life right now, so don't take this note as me being negative or dark in any way... but I've been thinking a lot...
I've been in NYC for the past few months... "doing me"(whatever that means) and I've been meeting new people...making friendships, or should i correct myself, and say "connections" with people with the same goals and interests as me. Almost once every week... on the bus... in a store... at my place of business up there... but it all makes me think about the people I either grew up with... considered friends... or banged with extremely hard with for years....(one's I'd give an arm and a leg for) and my question is WHAT HAPPENED TO US?? what happened to that undeniable bond between people.... you know...like that bond that we had with music and tv, and school we had at a young age, that you can't get with this new music.... Not for nostalgic reasons...not for trying to relive relationships that are destined to fall apart... but just for reflection purposes I started to wonder why it seems like these relationships end the way they do...

Maybe I changed... Maybe they did.. that's not a bad thing at all... maybe one persons idea of "growing up" is completely different from the others huh?? either way...we all move on... the crazy part is.. and that always has me baffled is... I'm always the one that makes the decision to divide myself from these people... am i wrong? or am i growing in a fashion that doesn't need them in my life anymore?? am i messed up for saying that? these are all good questions.. I don't want to sound like a good person, or care if i sound like a bad one? i'm just a curious person...

Think about your life (which wasn't too long to begin with) think about it in intervals of five years each... I can probably put money on it that... you don't hang out with the people you did five years ago...or date the same guy/girl... and the five years before that...and so on.... it changes almost every five years... why is that?? I guess this convo is directed to the people who are proactive about dropping friends, and moving on... The dominant personalities that probably run the show anyway... is there something that we're craving for that we can't get from those people, or is it just a lack of something???? some people move every five or ten years for reason....is it boredom.. or is it just a search for excitement...

HERE'S THE CRAZY PART ABOUT MY SITUATIONS!?!???!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? when I finally decide to depart from these lingering relationships with these people that were heavily involved in my life....they NEVER KNOW WHY I LEAVE... these old friends or whatever i call them... they just STOP hearing from me................ some ask "what's wrong", some try and act like every thing's cool and keep trying to hang....some don't say a damn word.... and i guess that's it... The reason I don't say anything is either because I felt disrespected....OR... I've been holding on to these people for so long for all the wrong reasons...that it doesn't even make sense to say "we're not cool anymore" ... i just go...................... just go................ and never say a word...... you know why.......... because deep down.. they knew there was a problem... whether it was my fault or theirs.... people are just not vocal... that's what's wrong with our communities in the first place...

I can say for some... we don't even laugh anymore like we use to... we don't chill....we don't whatever anymore..it was like that at one point... but some monkey wrenches have been thrown all up in our friendship... and the worst part about it is when... they're OBLIVIOUS... that shows how much they care for the friendship huh... you know....... I feel like a 45 year old who is talking about how his closest 5 friends are at each others throats in court over like a thousand dollars...and i'm looking back at our relationships asking "what happened'... I talk to my mom about this.. and she says that it's crazy that I'm going through this now at 22 because some people have their realizations about friends when they're middle aged.

The crazy part is... I can be just find with like one friend and be just fine....is that bad???? or be all by myself..I can entertain myself like nobody's business i tell you.......(old folks talk) but where's the giving and taking in a relationship nowadays... I felt like i was just always giving these people

I was the:
person that would get calls 3am to be the shoulder to cry on... when i had my own problems
letting people borrow money on the drop of a dime
giving rides on the drop of a dime
giving a place to sleep... and my bed... to friends in need
giving advice with peoples family problems.. when i had my own
guiding them to follow their desires (I'm big on that)
helping people fill out college apps and doing their essays and typing them....
the WHOLE 9

but what did I get in return? headaches... nah .... Yah's gotta move on from you people
and hey... I wish you all success, and that you make six figures, have healthy beautiful children and families, and live a satisfying life..... I just can't be apart of it..

I need to be around exciting people... people who..when they walk in a room, you feel their aura... you see them glow..even if they're quiet... something special about that women... or that dude looks like he's interesting.... I need positivity around... not leaches... get my drift.. I got people who WERE old friends... reminiscing and shit around me when they run into me.. like :

and all that sh** ...... MAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN FUCK the past... if you're still harping on that... you need to set out a new path, with some new cool shit going on in your life that'll top those semi old ass good times that most of us forgot about...

or any of that stuff... cause i'm too aware to know that those days are over.... move on...

I'm not an anti social person.... ask the few people that know me... .I got jokes... I chill ... but with some people it just seems like there's a five year plan on friendships and I'm kinda done with that shit....

The few people I'm befriending now...is it limited too??? i don't know....good question... I guess the moral of the story is to just get what you can get of people and then move on.. that's my mind set because it's been done to me for so long.... if you're hanging around someone for:

a shoulder to cry on
moral support
laughs
inspiration
motivation
status
love
their possessions .... that's cool....but get it while you can....because if they're smart... they'll notice.......

If you don't:
give a ride once in a while
give them a few dollars when they're hurting
let them tell about how they're feeling from a chance
tell them.... you're a good friend
give them inspiration
give them innovative ideas for once
show them somewhere new and fun to go..... then guess what.... you're a one sided friend and no good for anyone....not even yourself....

If you've never heard Pharoah's first...critically accaimed album... Internal Affairs...please go buy it... and his newest one "Desire" that I still haven't picked up.... Rummaging through my dusty cassette rack and finding this album... I pop it into a little tape recorder and listened to it while I was shaving a few days ago.... it was a real nostalgic feeling, because this alum to me reminds me of walking into the highschool, fresh off the bus, with my green bookbag, headphones, afro, and didn't care about A N Y T H I N G.....but rap music... I loved who i was and wasn't ashamed of it... this album is one of many scenes throughout my early teenage days... one of my favorite records on this album was "THE LIGHT"... it's probably one of the best songs I've ever heard (in my list of my 1 million favorite songs lol) I love it.... Check the video, and step into my pad...

It was produced by Diamond D....one of my favorite producers at the time... (best producer/M.C. hands down before Kanye came along)

Common is my favorite M.C... and no matter what he decides to put out I'm supporting him (like I do Kanye's music)... Do you know why I hate telling older people that I make music... Let alone hip hop music..?? Because everyone my age who is a black male does rap music...? I (like everyone else) feel like I'm unique and exceptionally good at what I do... but I want to know... why is it that we're(blacks) always on one side of the spectrum... We're consumers.... or .... wanting to be the main attraction... as children... all we want to be is A movie star, rap star, famous singer, famous dancer, VJ, DJ, Radio Personality, something similar to these things... #1... it is NOT EASY to become or maintain those positions in the first place (that was for young people) #2... Who told everyone that they had to be these things...why do we worship them so much...and #3 did you every think about the machine working behind the scenes that make these people who they are?????????????????? As children, black kids are told... be a doctor, a lawyer, a teacher or business major in college.. entertainer... that's all.. there's so in between... If I knew that there were "degree in Screen Writing for television" or "degree for film production" or "audio technology/engineering" degrees when i was younger, i would've been that much more motivated in high school... Why is it that we don't know these things...or even think hmmm? how was that song made, or movie created, or who's controlling what we're hearing on the radio???? we don't think these things....I know that most people think entertainment is a trivial field to be in... But it's probably just as important as the guy doing open heart surgery... honestly... How do we find out current events.....news...tv...radio... how do we find out about products we need....commercials, newspapers, product placement.... how are we able to see a live feed video of the president speaking from the other side of the world....huh??? Why do we play our favorite songs and movies when we're feeling down, or when we're in a good mood?? (music is the heart beat to everything) Without it we'd be nothing... The point is... African Americans need to see that there are so many things you can do besides wanting to be the star all the GD time...c'mon people... Jay-z and Diddy are hundred millionaires...yes... but who controls the airwaves?? who does the final clearances so movies can be played in american?? who owns radio towers, tv stations, record labels, film studios, and an even better question.... I'm not racist...I watch Superbad, American Pies, Japanese Anime, manga, Lord of the Rings... Chronicles of Narnia...I listen to Panic at the disco, New Found Glory, Radiohead... and so on, on top of the black entertainment i watch...whatever's good is good to me..

But remember, the next time your ride through our neighborhood and see the 20 chinese stores, 10 korean nail and hair places, indian owned dunkin doughnuts and subways, arab owned gas stations/corner stores/and chicken shacks, Fast food joints filled with working Mexicans, Amish farmers markets, Greek gyro spots, Italian food restaurants............................................................ What do WE have? all the ills in the community.. drugs, teenage parents, broken homes and families... We can't even own anything in our communities... and the ones that do good, just follow the brainwashing criteria that was given in our wack ass high schools that have limited knowledge..."Go be a lawyer" or some dumb shit.. Guidance councelors should be chosen way better than they have...tell the kids who's good with building how to become an independent contractor and not a english major (which he'll quit in a years tops) tell the kid who's creative that he can get diploma's, certificates, or degrees in photography or digital filmmaking... and finally ((here's my point... Tell the kids who are into entertainment, that there's a world of cool ass careers out there and that they can still rap, sing, act, or whatever and still be in the field...might even be a step through the back door...))!!! Either way Black People...we have to want to be SOMETHING... not just consumers or superstars...not just poor or rich.... not just working a 9 to 5 we hate or childhood dreams... there are in betweens to all of these things.... make an avenue for yourself... help control entertainment so we won't become obscure in at least the only shallow thing we're known for... Get into tv, radio, movies....put more of our beautiful faces on the screens, and voices on the radio... we have to do it because no one else will... Jay-z and all the other black million and billionaires still don't have their own radio towers,film studios, and etc. with the exception of a few (the lady who made tvone) c'mon people... if we control entertainment and the airways... we can help show the truth...the true artists, real singers, real-unbiased news, get with it!!!! Every time I hear this woman sing... it's like...she has a soothing voice....but it has some edge to it.... when she does riffs and hits certain notes with her voice...I always think...NO ONE SOUNDS LIKE HER!!! it's a unique sound and she damn sure has soul.... not NEO SOUL...I hate that term.... she's the shit!!! and i shook her hand!!! so joe.. :)

Speaking of distinct voices....Yummi Bingham probably has THE most distinct voice out of the singers i'm naming.... she'd probably be my first pick to work with because I haven't heard her sing on anyone's record in YEARS... her voice is so cute....not cute like...hold a note and probably should be singing at home cute...but it's so BRIGHT and the tone is almost like a child's....it's sweet.... for the majority of the songs i heard her on (De la soul records) she'd pop up towards the end and enhance the song by thousands.... she's re-dic-u-lous... not to mention nice to look at.... Brandy:

One of the most underrated singer of my generation... people sleep on her... she's Moesha to many...but a talented vocalist to me... (if you're not convinced that she was hot in her early years..go buy afrodisiac and see that she has it and STILL DOES) **note to self - - tell jazzie we have to see her perform live** Brandy's voice is smooth...but it's almost raspy....just a tad...it makes it sweet sounding but when she hits low notes it sounds full and alive... I love brandy... I talk about her voice often, not just for this blog...

Janelle Monae:

This woman ... just flat out stands out because of her creativity... When she sings ballads it reminds of me of a soulful voice from back in the day....but since she's so creative and sings upbeat, hold - on - to - your - seat music from the future and beyond...it really gives a new meaning to old school meets new school...Her lyrics first of all...are almost SECOND TO NONE.... and when she sings it makes me really imagine her on stage giving off all that intensity that's heavily lacking in recordings these days... Aliens.... outer space... a human voice .... with an imagination from out of this world..... Then when i heard a record called "Exhibit of a Transformation"... Pure genius... For a while my favorite MC's changed, I had an Eminem era >>> then Talib and Mos era >>> then for a while no one new came into play until Kanye West >>> then Lupe Fiasco .... Now a few years later... So... I'm still promoting "This is...for you" Like it's a Prostitute visiting a men's prison.... But, I have been working on a lot..... A LOT of new music.... because I don't want to be out of practice, while I'm in school (where a lot of people get rusty) sooo, with albums like Janelle Monae's Metroplis series, and other good music coming out... I have been inspired... and with that inspiration, I also got the idea to do concept records from now on. Here's why...

1. They're fun

2. They challenge creativity, to really stay within a story and paint a picture

3. Even though it's just music, they're more visually stimulating then just plain records.

4. Who wouldn't love to listen to a concept record. A real one, not like "the COOL" sorry Lupe, i loved the album, but 5 records on topic spread out on a 20-something track album isn't a concept record

I like weird and quirky titles, and thinking back to when I was a child, the titles like "Sideways Stories from Wayside School" and "Tales of the Fourth Grade Nothing" also caught our attention...and the longer the title the better...So I came up with some long ass titles for what I've been working on. It might sound weird at first

So... With saying all of that, I've roughly created three titles for some of the unfinished music that's locked away in my MP, thoughts, and books. These will eventually turn into albums, the titles are:

*This takes place in the 1940's, about a man named Johnnie Fields (named after my grandfather and uncle...and my name means John too :). He's a drinking, gambling, womanizing, law breaking guy from the Windy City who never does right by women that he's with...Could it be because of some hurt that he has experienced in his past??? This is a tale of jealousy, violence, vengefulness, trickery, lies, and SEX... all that is Johnnie Fields gets revealed as his life is changed when he runs into a young lady from his past. Will he change his ways?"

October 4th,...or the 3rd.. I don't remember really... One of the greatest artists of our time, arguably (in my mind) the greatest rapper alive, and my favorite M.C. ever..."Be" being my favorite album. Common (Sense) is coming BACK to the electric factory AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Will he be the only one there...of course not...because the innovative, energetic, and amazing N.E.R.D. will be there with Common... I'm sure that they hopped on tour together because of the records Pharrel and Common did for his new album... I'm listening to it right now and it's really really good...Like, the music doesn't sound like anything I've heard...the tone of music is really unique..It's like futuristic and organic at the same time... My favorite record is"What the Hell" Producer, rapper, (there's even some singing going down..and its good) A Very well rounded artist. From junior high to now, I've seen him grow as a person. From High School, I've seen J-rok grow as an artist...and vice versa...

Off to newyork for the like the millionth time in a couple of hours...Me and my babe are gonna step out and go, just for fun and to get away from willingboro... If I'm not dealing with the school...I like to really aimlessly walk around the city, go in to obscure and weird stores (some end up being porno shops by accident) and just look around...BUT when I go to the city, there is always a few places I always like to go to even if i'm not buying... I've been to the Sahara Grill a few times where I met this Turkish guy, he's pretty funny and animated..always asking me to taste the chicken LOL...well, one day I walked the Sahara Grill from the Other side of 7th ave and from far away looked above it and was like Oh sh**....a huge comic book store is right above it..It ended up being MIDTOWN COMICS... love that store...you have to look for the entrance, around the corner..it's two floors of manga, comics, toys, models, and chocolatey goodness.. :)

I also like to go to the huge Borders(that appeared in one of my blogs before)... Toys R Us(who doesn't) and last but definately not Least....my favorite store in the city, that I spend the most time in is da da da duhhhhhhhhhhhh

the VIRGIN Megastore...A lot of people run through this store... *Guess it's not a virgin then huh* I kid I kid... :) This store is the banginest thing since Sliced Bread...Three Floors of music(many 10 bucks) movies(many 10 bucks) ipods, zunes, video games, hand bags, books, and tons of COOL SHIT....plain and simple..it's rediculous...I love this store...

I'm very flattered that people come to my blog and read...only a few... but some people come read my blog, get ideas, then go back to their pointless blogs and format their posts the same way I do, have similar topics, and similar interests as me... ok...so my hair is long as hell... and I'm 22, and I constantly keep having this idea of cutting, I'm getting tired of trying to manage it, but i do love my hair.... listen to this process.. women know....
1.take braids out (depending on how many braids-1hr)
2.washing hair (35 minutes)
3.combing hair (10-20 minutes)
4.blow drying hair (1 hour)
5.getting it braided (1.5 - 2 hours)
NOT COOL... I didn't mention finding someone to do it which is an event in its own...
We'll see what the future holds for my hair... we'll see

When I say I want something new,(most likely something electronic) the question, "Why start with something so expensive?", comes up a lot... The answer is... No matter what you start with in whatever craft you are practicing, If you have passion, creativity, and patience, you'll eventually start to get better and better no matter what you start on, So why not start with the best? Because the cheap sh** will get outdated fast, if you start to excel faster than the average person. This is why I saved up for an MP2000xl when first starting to make beats, instead of some nut a** fruity loop or crappy software... by the time you get good, or great, you already have the great stuff at your disposal AND you already know how to use it, if you hadn't mastered it already... So if you're starting something new, don't be afraid of the "Big Boy" Stuff, because I do that kinda stuff all of the time... start off with Pro-tools, Avid, expensive keyboards, rollerblades, digital cameras, sky diving, learn how to drive a car in a stick shift, or whatever it is you're doing... It's like when Gohan learned how to fight while fighting with enemies that were going to destroy the earth...and he was only 5 years old... anyway anyway...I want this damn camera, and I don't care if I have to win the lottery, sell a beat, or kill someone, I'm going to get it...

(get me) He's very good friends/or cousins, with Kanye West...who he appears on 88's first single "Stay up" (viagra) lol.... I can't wait for this album to come out, because I haven't been joe about albums lately, except for Janelle Monae (which is also a concept album) so... everyone, get introduced to some of either 88's raps or magnificent beats from his past like "LOVE" on Mos Def's first solo LP "Black on Both Sides"... I wrote a blog about Janelle Monae, a while back, I love her music, but now it's on another level of love for her... I just purchased the rerelease (official store release) of Janelle Monae's METROPOLIS SUITE ONE: THE CHASE... It has two more tracks then the downloadable album did... "Mr. President" and "Smile"... This album is so much worthy of having physically in your hands, the album art is CRAZY DUMB HOT... goes right along with the concept as expected...

It has a synopsis of the plot when you first open the album, showing a picture of what Metropolis looks like... this is nuts...

In the year 2719 cyborg Cindi Mayweather is wanted for falling in love with a human being, which is against the law in Metropolis... It is immediately announced that Cindi is WANTED and that she is to be disassembled by Bounty

Hunters... This is where "The Chase" begins...

My favorite three tracks are either "Violet Stars Happy Hunting!!!", "Many Moons", or "Sincerley, Jane"...

1.Her voice is amazing

2.The lyrics are probably the best in the industry right now

3.The concept blows my mind

4.Artistically was pulled off so great

5.The production is unlike anything out, puts you in the mood of the plot

I was watching the BMX championship today, and it all came down to Daniel Dehrs verses Michael Spinner...Now... the reason why this was so special, is because last year these two were in the top two and faced off for the title, and Mike Spinner rode his way to victory...BUT, with almost equal performances throught the prelims, when it came to the finals, and one mistake from Mike Spinner, Daniel took the title... (I was really rooting for Mike, cause his style is a bit more aggressive and looks better) BUT Nonetheless, Daniel did his damn thing and took the crown... it was super exciting, and I'm about to research my way into going to my first BMX show the next time they're in a skate park or stadium in Philly... There's a sickness going around called "Being Miserable"... I was a victim of this for a while...(still slip in from time to time) but I came to the realization, that I couldn't do that sh**... I had a long conversation with a friend of mine today, and I can hear the stress and cry for help in her voice... People "wish" for things to be better, they "hope" ... they sit back and don't do anything about it... Hey, I don't have all the answers, and I don't know everything (if it seems like I'm coming off like this, in this blog) but... nothing is going to change without stepping out of your routine... If you're boyfriend is treating you like ish, if you're relationship with your family is falling apart, if you have dreams that seem out of reach... you HAVE TO DO SOMETHING.... If anything, at the least, take yourself out of your routine, do something new, go somewhere you've never been, do something unconventional to your routine...You might find somebody new, get a new idea for something because you're in a new environment and seen something that you never did, you might even stumble across a bag full of cash...who knows, the point is....if something is that bad...do something about it...If you don't like the way you look(this applies to me) change it...at least try, even if you don't reach your goal, you'll have better results trying then just talking... Honestly, I had to step out of my comfort zone and do a few things that I was shaky about, and found happiness in a woman that I remet later in life... I had to remove myself from an environment that I hated, so I could live with the fact that I had to make my own decisions in life, and that it's mine and nobody elses... the point is clear... Happiness, Love, and good memories are all that we have in this life (at least in my opinion) Don't let the time fly by and you look up and you spent ten years feeling like crap and not doing anything about it... Feel good.... get a hobby, laugh, smile, go on dates, practice your craft with passion, hug your loved ones, when you kiss someone do it with the excitement because you love them and not just because it's the millionth time... We don't know if cancer can sneak up on us next year, or what year a loved one will become ill... Time is the most precious thing we have next to our faith, health, and family(if you love them)...so make sure it's not being spent in unwanted, unneccessary predicaments and problems... Peace... I love being a big kid... I love cartoons... I love toys... I LOVE TOYS... Up until now, the only toys that I have are vintage action figures, or toys from childhood shows, like Voltron, X men figures, and things like that ... But what I always wanted to start a collection of was designer toys...One of my first blogs ever was about KIDROBOT... and yesterday I was surprised... I came home, and my babe came over all crazy, and she brought me a M******F***ing MUNNY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
